What Rights - Fitness to Practice

Back to (social) work

So, in my last post I mentioned my upcoming hearing - well that hearing went very well for my client, a social worker.  The panel found that her fitness to practice was not currently impaired, and because I made a successful submission of no case to answer, the social worker didn't even have to give evidence.

This client was another who burst into tears on hearing the good news.It must be so stressful bearing the burden of an investigation and disciplinary proceedings by your regulator.Even more so, if you are doing so without a representative to share the load. You need all the support you can get, family, friends, union, work colleagues; as many people to fight your corner as you can find.Don't go it alone.
