Standing up for the little guy

What Rights is dedicated to fighting on behalf of the individual against the organisation; the regulator, the NHS trust, the employer - the man. For three decades, Marc Walker, the firm’s owner and a qualified fitness to practise lawyer, has been getting justice for his clients, focusing on the areas of crime, employment and professional discipline. Since 2014, he has specialised in fitness to practise cases in front of several different regulators. He and the firm work in conjunction with other dedicated fitness to practise lawyers, who have often worked for regulators themselves. Such as consultant solicitor, Mark Millin (who presented cases on behalf of the HCPC), and barrister Wafa Shah (who presented cases on behalf of the NMC). This combined insight, from both prosecution and defence, allows us to obtain the best possible outcomes at all levels - from employer disciplinary investigations and student fitness to practise processes, to fitness to practise panels and High Court appeals.
