We are specialists in fitness to practise work
It’s what we do all day, every day. All of our cases are fitness to practise matters, with some linked employment and criminal cases.
We are affordable
We run our services very efficiently and don’t have the overheads of bigger firms, so we are able to keep our costs much lower.
We have an incredible record of success
We fight hard for our clients (they tell us how happy they are in their testimonials) and over the decade or so Marc Walker has been doing fitness to practise work, only 4 clients have lost their registrations.
It’s best not to try to manage your defence yourself
Your fitness to practise hearing is a serious matter. We can all do a basic level of first aid, but with a serious condition, most of us wouldn’t dream of trying to deal with it ourselves. If you value your professional registration, get professional fitness to practise help. This is our specialism.
Call 01223 803873 or contact us by email, contact form or send us a message. We’ll ask you to send us your documents: your case will be quickly reviewed (for free) and you’ll get a quote. Once terms are agreed, and any fees paid, we start working on your case.
You don’t pay anything until we agree to work together on your case
Often, teachers, nurses, social workers and other health and care professionals come across this site looking for advice on how to deal with their cases themselves.
But if you are facing a potential fitness to practise hearing, you need proper advice and representation. We often work evenings and weekends, so contact us at any time.
We’ve been doing this for years. There’s an old case study and testimonial below - check the dates!
Have a look at other case studies* and more recent blog posts for cases that might be similar to yours; or check out our videos:
Also do take the time to look at our testimonials to get a feel for how we treat our clients when we are winning their cases. We are confident in saying that very few law firms get glowing testimonials like these - and since we switched onto Google reviews, we are up to TWENTY THREE 5-star reviews as of May 2025.
*These are all real cases where time and again we've been successful in helping professionals keep or regain their precious right to practise.
Case Study
Marc Walker represented [April 2018] a radiographer referred to the HCPC for incompetence in their sonography practice. They were new to the practice of diagnostic ultrasound in the UK, having qualified abroad. The HCPC applied for an interim order restricting the registrant's practice. As a result of our representations, which included a detailed commentary on the referrer's documentation, the panel imposed minimal conditions of practice on our client's sonography practice, leaving them able to practise general radiography without restriction.
Testimonial
“I can't thanks enough to Mr Marc Walker who helped me through a long and stressful process which lasted 3 years after I have been referred to NMC. His professionalism, attitude and advice helped me regain my PIN back without no condition of practice or any other restrictions. I would gladly recommend Mr Walker to anyone who need help through the stressful times of their professional careers.”
