Interim order hearing success

This week, I dealt with two interim order review hearings at the Nursing and Midwifery Council (“NMC”).

Both were early reviews of existing interim orders, one of interim suspension and the second of interim conditions of practice.

In the first case, our goal was to reduce the level of restriction to at least conditions of practice, and it was our application for early review. In the second, the aim was to prevent the level of restriction changing, and it was the NMC’s application for review.

Both cases were sucessful - the nurse subjected to suspension can now work under conditions of practice, and the nurse subject to conditions of practice can continue to work under conditions.

It cannot be over-emphasised how important it is to have representation at these hearings, where your right to practise and to earn money to support your family is on such a knife edge.

Our advice is to act early, act swiftly and succeed - get in contact with us as soon as you can and let us start helping you.
