And so my hot streak ends...

All good things come to an end, and unfortunately a run of outstanding results has finally ended. Disappointingly, a nurse I represented last week facing allegations of incompetence, was given an interim suspension order. I had hoped that the panel could be persuaded to give an interim conditions of practice order, but some last minute evidence from the NMC dashed any hope of that.

But all is not lost. When you are subject to such an order, you have the opportunity to ask for an early review, where you have new evidence which might affect the basis for the order. This means if you go away and do all the work that is required, you can come back to the NMC to ask that the order be lifted.

I won't let this one go just yet...
